Patterson average rig count falls to 78

Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc., average drilling rigs operating continue to decrease.
In January, the company reported it had an average of 78 drilling rigs operating in the U.S. and four in Canada. In December, it had an average of 82 rigs operating in the U.S. and three in Canada.
In January 2015, Patterson reported it had an average of 188 rigs operating in the U.S. and 10 in Canada.
