Preparations are in full swing for the Snyder Chamber of Commerce’s annual Fourth of July celebration at Towle Park.
Organizers promise a wide variety of musical entertainment and food and merchandise vendors as well as the annual parade, fireworks show and carnival.
“Everything is on the up and up,” said chamber Events Coordinator Josh Ortegon. “We’re getting more vendors every day. Everything is setting up for this to be a traditional Fourth at the park.”
The celebration will begin with the Snyder Lions’ Club hosting a prayer breakfast at the Towle Park barn at 7:30 a.m. and will continue with the annual parade around the park. Parade entries may begin lining up at 9 a.m. on July 4, with the parade starting at 10 a.m.
Throughout the day, a variety of vendors will have booths set up in the park and Ortegon said he is busy finalizing a list of musical acts that will perform throughout the day.
The headliner of the celebration will be the annual fireworks show, which will begin at dusk.
