Quanah Parker Day to celebrate Quanah and Comanche traditions

The Quanah Parker Trail, in partnership with the Texas Plains Trail Region, has spent the last 10 years documenting the presence of Quanah and the Comanche in the 52 counties of the Panhandle.  A result of this process has been the placing of eighty-eight, 22-foot tall, steel arrows throughout the the region.   The Scurry County Historical Commission supports these organizations.
