After receiving 1.13 inches of rain on Thursday, Snyder residents could see more Saturday night and into Sunday.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday night. On Sunday, rain chances will increase to 70 percent.
Some areas of Snyder, on Wednesday and Thursday, received more than one inch of rain, including 3.3 inches at the Farmers Co-Op Gin.
On Thursday, the water treatment plant reported receiving 1.13 inches of rain. Winston Field, the official weather service station in Scurry County, received 0.48 of an inch.
