With elections come paperwork for the County Clerk’s office.
Melody Appleton said several blue voter registration cards were returned to her office and residents should make sure they receive one prior to the March 1 primary elections.
“If a person has moved within the last two years and has not received a blue voter registration card, they need to contact my office,” Appleton said.
Voters who did not receive the card will be mailed a letter to the same address as the card. Appleton said the best way to make sure the voter information is up-to-date is to visit her office, which is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A staff member is available during the lunchtime hours.
Appleton said those who do not receive a card prior to the election may be removed from the voter rolls.
