The Hermleigh ISD board of trustees will hear a student presentation on revising the dress code during Tuesday’s meeting.
Superintendent Brent Dawson said the student requested to postpone his presentation during last month’s meeting because of a scheduling conflict.
The board will not vote on any recommendations after the presentation.
Trustees will vote on the latest Texas Association of School Boards policy updates and the superintendent contract review.
A public hearing will be held during the meeting to discuss the district’s performance on the Texas Academic Performance report and Public Education Grant Program.
The students of the third six-weeks will be honored during the meeting. Reagan Bollinger was the outstanding elementary student and Reagan Stewart received the secondary award.
Among the reports scheduled to be presented is the third six-weeks’ enrollment report and Dawson’s monthly report.
A closed session to discuss personnel is listed on the agenda. Any action from the closed session will be done in open session.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the school district boardroom and is open to the public.
