Scurry County gas prices top state average by 13 cents

Scurry County’s retail gasoline prices are 13 cents more than the state average, according to a statewide survey released today.
The average price for regular unleaded gasoline in Scurry County is $2.08 today, which is 13 cents more than the state average of $1.94. In Mitchell County, the average price for unleaded gasoline is $1.98 while in Nolan County, the average is $1.94. In Fisher County, the average price is $2.19
AAA Texas reported the nationwide price at the pump rose 3 cents to reach an average $2.21 per gallon.
The association survey found that the El Paso region had the most expensive gasoline in Texas this week at an average $2.02 per gallon. Drivers in Corpus Christi and Fort Worth have the cheapest gasoline statewide at $1.89 per gallon.
