Six convicted, headed to prison

Six defendants were sentenced to prison after hearings in District Judge Ernie B. Armstrong’s courtroom recently. Samuel Rubio-Covarrubias, 28, of Snyder, was given an 8-year sentence after he was convicted of second degree felony sexual assault.
