Snyder fans may want to arrive early for Friday’s District 3-4A Division I football game against Stephenville at Tiger Stadium.
Head coach James Polk announced that longtime Snyder Tiger fan Jonathan Barrow will score his first touchdown with the Tigers’ starting offense.
“Jonathan is one of our biggest fans,” Polk said. “We will start the game before kickoff with Jonathan lining up with our starting offense against Stephenville’s defense. We will run a regular play, simulate blocking and watch Jonathan take it to the house.”
Polk said that he hopes the band will play the fight song, just like when the Tigers score during a game, along with the cheerleaders leading the crowd.
