Snyder ISD to hold district bee

Tomorrow, Snyder ISD students will compete in the district spelling bee. The top two finishers in each grade-level event will compete at 10 a.m. in Worsham Auditorium.
Third graders competed on Jan. 29 in the primary school cafeteria. The champion was Kinlee Redman and the runner-up was Oswaldo Robles.
Fourth graders held their competition on Jan. 22 and fifth graders held theirs on Jan. 23 in the intermediate cafeteria. The fourth grade winner was Cohen Pacheco and the runner-up was Briana Bucy. 
The fifth grade champion was Niko Austin and the runner-up was Lea Aviles.
Junior high school students held their campus competition in the cafetorium this morning.
The sixth grade champion was Tuff Leatherwood and the runner-up was his cousin, Christian Wright. The seventh grade winner was Yasmin Thamez, and Chloe Hombrebueno took second place. The eight grade champion was Heaven Stocks and the runner-up was Riley Om.
