A Snyder man was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident on FM 1856 in Nolan County Saturday.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) records show that Ramon Lopez Valadez was traveling east on FM 1856 when his motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve and went off the roadway, ejecting the driver.
He was transported to Rolling Plains Hospital in Sweetwater, where he was later pronounced dead.
Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident, DPS records stated.
DPS Sgt. Frederick Biddle said the accident report was preliminary in nature and the wreck remains under investigation.
Funeral arrangements for Valadez are being handled by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
