Snyder man to face jury for DWI

Jury selection for a  60-year-old Snyder man charged with driving while intoxicated will begin Tuesday afternoon in Judge Ernie B. Armstrong’s courtroom.
Matthew Clarence Lyle will face a jury for the third-degree felony offense. He was arrested on Feb. 8 and indicted by a Scurry County grand jury in September.
Lyle has two previous driving while intoxicated convictions in Scurry County, in 1993 and 2014.
Ben Smith will present the state’s case and Chris Hartman will represent the defendant.
Jury selection is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
