Snyder sixth in state contest

The Snyder High School one-act play, A View From The Bridge, finished sixth at Tuesday’s Class 4A state contest in Round Rock.
Two cast members earned individual honors at the state level — Whitney Tubbs was named to the all-star cast and Brett Brunson was an honorable mention all-star cast member.
Salado won the state title with Blue Stockings and Melissa’s The Old Man and the Old Moon finished second. Seminole’s Ugly Lies the Bones finished third.
Other Snyder cast and crew members of the 2019 production were  Brody Jasso, Bergandi Alvarado, Johnny-Dean Maresch, Alex Monroy, Jaden West, Will Haley, Temo Olvera, Adrian Monroy, Noah Grant, Collin Guynes, Eli McClain, Talon Vandygriff, Jaqulynn Craig, Baylee Green, Aurora Savedra, Emmah Hilburn-Herrera, Maria Martinez, Oriana Renshaw, Caitlyn Crane, Zoe Row, Olivia Haley and Madison Mitchell.
