The Snyder ISD board of trustees will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Thursday to hear input on the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR).
TAPR pulls together information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas on an annual basis. Performance is broken down by student groups, including ethnicity and low-income status.
The reports also provide information on school and district staff, programs and student demographics.
The report is for the 2014-15 school year and states Snyder ISD is listed as improvement required on the state accountability rating system.
The most recent information on the report shows the district had a 95.9 percent attendance rating in 2013-14 and a 3.3 percent dropout rate for high school students and 0 percent for seventh and eight grades.
It also shows that Snyder’s class of 2014 graduation rate was 87.4 percent.
The hearing will be held in the administration building boardroom.
