Scurry County students will return to school on Monday.
With the Thanksgiving holiday behind them, the county’s public school districts — Snyder ISD, Ira ISD and Hermleigh ISD, as well as Snyder Christian School, will complete the remainder of the fall semester before winter break.
The Christmas holiday schedule for the public school districts will align, for the most part, this year. Ira, Snyder and Hermleigh ISDs will have Christmas break Dec. 23 and students will return either January 7 or 8.
Teachers in Ira and Hermleigh will have a professional a development day on January 6, and Snyder teachers will have professional development days on January 6 and 7. Snyder Christian School will start its Christmas break December 19. Teachers will have a professional development day on January 6 and students will return January 7.
