Debbie Brownlow will talk about how she overcame challengers through her faith at the Trinity United Methodist Church March 7 women's prayer brunch
As a young adult, Brownlow’s faith journey began to change as she wrestled with the words of Christ, the lives of the disciples and the reality of what she saw being lived out by many believing people within the church. This led Brownlow on her own journey to seek the more of God.
She and her husband Brian have lived in nine different communities and served in nine different churches. They have three young adult children.
The family ministers locally and in Malawi, Africa. They have traveled to Malawi for the past 13 years with Circle of Hope International.
Brownlow said she is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ who has a love for His word and His truth.
She is a dyslexia teacher for Lubbock ISD and a member of Lake Ridge United Methodist Church where she teaches Sunday School and leads a weekly Bible Study.
The Facing Challenges with Faith brunch will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is open to all women.
