Thanksgiving holiday closures have been announced by government entities and financial institutions.
Scurry County Courthouse offices and the Scurry County Senior Citizens Center will be closed Thursday and Friday. The Scurry County Library will be closed Thursday through Saturday.
City of Snyder offices will be closed Thursday and Friday and the Snyder Landfill will be closed Thursday and Saturday. The landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Friday.
The Scurry County Appraisal District office will be closed Thursday and Friday.
The Snyder Chamber of Commerce office will close at noon Wednesday and will reopen on Monday.
Cogdell Memorial Hospital offices and the Cogdell Family Clinic will be closed on Thursday.
The Scurry County School Federal Credit Union will close at noon Wednesday and will be closed Thursday and Friday.
West Texas State Bank and Community Bank of Snyder will both be closed on Thursday and will be open until noon Friday. The drive-through lanes at both banks will be closed on Saturday.
AimBank, FirstBank and Trust and Prosperity Bank will be closed on Thursday.
The Snyder Daily News office will be closed on Thursday. The Thursday edition will be delivered Thanksgiving morning.
