Third incumbent files for May elections

A third incumbent has filed for a spot on the ballot in the May elections.
Snyder City Council member Steve Rich filed for re-election to his seat on the council. None of the other three incumbents have yet filed their paperwork with the city.
Rich joins Mike McWilliams and Drew Bullard, who have filed for re-election to their at-large seats on the Western Texas College board of directors.
The City of Snyder, Snyder ISD, Western Texas College and Cogdell Memorial Hospital will all have seats up for election May 2. 
Ira ISD and Hermleigh ISD will wait until November for their elections.
Those interested in running for seats on any of these boards may file weekdays through Feb. 14 at the administrative headquarters for the entity in question.
The city’s council four single-member district seats are up for election. Snyder ISD has three places up for election. The Scurry County Junior College District (WTC) currently has two at-large positions up for election and the Scurry County Hospital District (Cogdell) currently has three seats up for election. 
Early voting will be held April 20-24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on April 27 and 28 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting and Election Day voting will be held at College on the Square.
