Three men have probation revoked; Snyder man given concurrent sentences

Two men from Snyder and one from Midland had their probations revoked after failing conditions of their probations, another was given three concurrent prison sentences and a fourth was given an eight-year sentence in District Judge Ernie B. Armstrong’s courtroom recently.
Rudy Benjamin Duckworth, 30, of Snyder, was originally given a five-year probated sentence after his conviction on a third-degree felony charge of assault, family violence.
His probation was revoked after he was convicted of resisting arrest in Scurry County on May 18, failed to report to his probation officer between December and March, failed to make his monthly payment for his fine and court and attorney fees or to complete community service between October and March, failed to pay his probation fee between August and March and missed a probation performance review in January.
He will serve his full five-year sentence and owes $550 in attorney fees and $3,053 in restitution.
The original sentence stemmed from an incident in which he struck a family member in the face.
He has a previous conviction in Scurry County for assaulting a family member in October 2007.
Charles Joseph Granger Jr., 44, of Snyder, had his probation revoked on a conviction for third-degree felony driving while intoxicated.
It was revoked after he failed to report to his probation officer or make any of  his required fine, restitution or court and attorney fee payments between June and August 2015 and failed to participate in a drug or alcohol treatment program in May 2015.
He will serve his original five-year term.
Roman Munoz, 28, of Midland, had his probation revoked for burglary of a building.
He was originally given a two-year sentence, probated five years, and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, pay $300 restitution and $610 in court and attorney fees.
His probation was revoked after he missed a probation performance review in November 2013, stole electronics valued at more than $500, but less than $1,500, from a store in Midland, and failed to report to his probation officer or make any of his required fine, restitution or court and attorney fee payments between November 2013 and August 2015.
In March 2002 he was convicted of attempting to steal a vehicle.
Mauricio David Guerrero, 42, of Snyder was given a 10-year sentence after pleading guilty to bail jumping/failure to appear, a third-degree felony, a five-year sentence after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, also a third-degree felony, and a two-year sentence after pleading guilty to evading arrest, a state-jail felony.
As part of the bail jumping sentence, he was also ordered to pay $909 in court and attorney fees. He failed to appear for court on May 3.
On the firearm possession conviction, he was ordered to pay $919 in court and attorney fees. On Dec. 3, he was found in possession of a firearm within the five-year anniversary of his release on an evading arrest conviction.
On the resisting arrest conviction, which stemmed from a Dec. 3 incident, Guerrero was also ordered to pay $919 in court and attorney fees.
Guerrero will serve each of the sentences concurrently, according to court documents.
Terry Lynn Goolsby, 49, of Snyder, was given an eight-year sentence after his conviction of state-jail felony, enhanced to second degree felony, theft.
He was also ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, $325 in restitution and $909 in court and attorney fees.
On July 22, 2015, Goolsby attempted to steal less than $50 in merchandise from his victim.
He has previous convictions for theft in February 2011 in Ector County and May 2011 in Nolan County. He was also convicted in Ector County in November 1993 for burglary of a vehicle and for robbery in December 2004 in Taylor County.
