With the West Texas Western Swing Festival scheduled next week, Snyder Chamber of Commerce Events Coordinator Josh Ortegon said ticket sales are going “very good.”
Ortegon said tickets purchased at The Coliseum will not cost more.
“We decided to leave the single-ticket price at $23 and they can even be purchased at the door,” Ortegon said.
Ortegon did not have an exact count on the sales of four-day passes, which are available for $60, but said the chamber has sold several.
The 50-amp RV spots are sold out, but a few 30-amp spots are available. More than a dozen vendors have reserved booths, many of which have attended the festival before.
The festival will begin with the annual burgers and beans welcome home dinner and jam session on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Leon Rausch with Morey Sullivan and the Brazos Valley Boys, Rance Norton and The Cadillac Cowboys and the Tommy Hooker Band are scheduled to perform.
Larry Lange and the Lonestar Troubadours, Jeff Woolsey and the Dance Hall Kings and Jody Nix and the Texas Cowboys will perform Friday.
Kelly Spinks and Miles of Texas, Billy Mata and Texas Tradition and Jake Hooker and the Outsiders will perform Saturday.
Two sessions will be held each day — at noon and 6:30 p.m.
