Two indicted on felony charges

Two people were recently indicted by a Scurry County grand jury, each on a single third-degree felony charge.
Ambery Nichole Andruss, 29, of Stockdale, was indicted on a charge of bail jumping and failure to appear. 
According to the indictment, on or about June 6, 2019, Andruss failed to appear in court in accordance with the terms of her release. The original charge was possession of a controlled substance less than one gram. Bail was set at $20,000.
Carlos Reyes, 43, of Clinton, Okla., was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. 
According to the indictment, Reyes intentionally or knowingly possessed between one and four grams of methamphetamine on or about May 12, 2019. 
Reyes’ bail was set at $5,000.
If convicted, possible punishments range from a minimum of two years to a maximum of 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
