Reservations for the Scurry County United Way Lend a Hand campaign luncheon will be accepted through Tuesday.
The luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 21. at Martha Ann Woman’s Club. Reservations may be made by calling 573-5311.
The cost for the dutch-treat luncheon is $12 per person.
The 2016 campaign raised $107,542, which represented 90 percent of the $120,000 goal.
In addition to recognizing the eight partner agencies and providing their first allocation from the money raised during this year’s campaign, the board of directors will present the Jack and Ann Smartt awards.
United Way’s eight partner agencies this year are Scurry Community Services, Gateway Family Services, West Texas Children’s Advocacy Center, Buffalo Trail Boy Scouts, Texas-Oklahoma Plains Girl Scouts, Cancer Services Network, Scurry County Food Cupboard and the Snyder Volunteer Fire Department.
