Victims identified in double homicide

The Snyder Police Department and the Texas Rangers are continuing the investigation into the death of two male subjects that occurred in Snyder at about 4 a.m. Jan. 24 in the 2100 block of Ave. Z.
An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday in Lubbock.
The male subjects have been positively identified as Benjamyn Leslee Burns, 29, of Victoria, and Joshua David Hoover, 25, of Snyder. At the time of this release, no information from the preliminary autopsy was available.
Some questions have been asked as to if there was anyone else thought to be involved in this incident. At this time, there is no indication that anyone else is involved in this incident other than those already identified in the press releases.
It was asked if the weapons used in this incident were recovered. Yes they have been recovered. One hand gun and three knives were recovered at the scene.
At this time, this continues to be an ongoing investigation. More information will be released at such time that it becomes available. When information does become available and it can be released without interfering with the course of the investigation, a press release will be completed and made available.
