Waterline project to affect service next two weeks

Some residents will be without water for several hours on Wednesday and Thursday each of the next two weeks.
On Wednesday, water lines will be tied-in at the intersection of Ave. O and 28th Street. Residents on 20th to 28th streets and Ave. O will be without water from 1-4 p.m.
Waterlines will be tied in on 21st Street from Ave. I to Ave. K on Thursday. Residents in that area will be without water for one hour while old services are changed to the new services.
The new lines on Ave. N, from 20th to 22nd streets, are scheduled to be tied Feb. 17-18. Residents in that area will be without water for one hour while old services are changed to the new services.
Today, the lines were tied-in at the intersection of Ave O and 20th Street. Today through Thursday, new waterlines will be installed on Ave. N from 20th to 22nd streets.
The mobilization and spotting of utility lines on 14th Street, from College Ave. to Ave. R, is scheduled for Feb. 19.
Crews will install a new waterline and main tie-ins on 14th Street, from College Ave. to Ave. R, on Feb. 22-23. City officials said residents should expect an interruption of service those two days.
The tie-in for the 14th Street line is scheduled for Feb. 25. Residents in that area will be without water for one hour while old services are changed to the new services.
On Feb. 25-26, new lines and main tie-ins will be installed on Merrill Ave. from 14th Street to the U.S. Hwy. 84 service road. Service interruptions are possible those days.
