The Snyder Downtown Farmers Market will begin this weekend with a big kick-off.

Area government offices will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

All non-emergency offices for the city and county will be closed and will reopen Tuesday.

The Scurry County Resource Center is taking clothing donations until July 1.
