Miriam Cochran
1928-2019
Miriam Sullivan Cochran, 91, of Irving, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2019.
Funeral service for Mrs. Cochran will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. 
Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Alpha Grice
1932-2019
Born to this earth on Aug. 17, 1932, Alpha Mae (Fuqua) Grice entered Heaven’s gates on August 5, 2019.
A celebration of life service for Mrs. Grice will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Jayton with Pastor Jake Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at the Jayton Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home of Rotan.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
“Nanny” loved her family, friends, dancing, cooking and children. She never met a stranger that was a stranger very long. She found a connection with everyone she met.
Alpha was welcomed home by her husband, Nolan Grice; one daughter, Barbara Grice; one grandson, Rodney Grice; two great-grandchildren, Debbie and Tuffy Grice; two brothers, Andy and Macy Fuqua, her parents, A.N. “Bub” and Fannie Mae Howell Fuqua; a special friend, Mac McNeely; and a host of friends.
Those left to carry on are her sons, Brian Grice and his wife, Amanda, of Gladewater, Bobby Grice and his wife, Luann, of Snyder and Roger Grice of Forgan, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and their spouses; 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and a special friend, Jim Johnston.
The family would like to thank Elite Home Health and Heart 2 Heart Hospice, both of Longview, for their support.

Bobbie Vaughan
1932-2019
Bobbie Jean Vaughan, 87, of Snyder, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 in Snyder.
Funeral service for Mrs. Vaughan will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 17 in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Matt Lowry and Steve Highfield officiating. 
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Aug. 16 at the funeral home.
Born on April 26, 1932 in Sulphur Springs to Clarence and Alma (Hathcoat) Cagle, she married Robert Vaughan on Jan. 5, 1949 in Hughes Springs. He preceded her in death in February 1985. Bobbie completed her GED after the youngest child reached driving age. She then worked in the cafeteria at West Elementary School and later at the Cogdell Memorial Hospital snack bar.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Starlett Bailey and Barbara Ann Vaughn; one son, Dennis Vaughan; three brothers, J.W. Cagle, Jim Cagle and David Cagle; two grandchildren, Aron and Eric; and one great-grandchild, Brandon.
Survivors include one son, Gayland Vaughan and his wife, Debbie, of Snyder; two daughters, Bonnie McDorman of Snyder and Velda Waliky and her husband, Bob, of Center Point; two sisters, Diane Cochran of Canton and Brenda McClure of Quitman; eight grandchildren, Regina, James, Angela, Amy, Chase, Casey, Danny and Michelle; 12 great-grandchildren, Alex, Amber, Axton, Dakota, Baily, Haily, Gavin, Brent, Kimi, Cassidy, Colby and Ryle; and two great-great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Kyle.
