Troy Bruce Randolph

Troy Bruce Randolph, 78, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020.
A private service was held Sunday in Rotan. Arrangements are under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home in Rotan.
He was born in Snyder on March 14, 1942. He and his family lived in the Polar Community for many years. Troy, known as Bruce while growing up, graduated from Rotan High School in 1960. He joined the U.S. Army, where he was a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division. After returning from the military he worked at Weathersbee Funeral Home. Later he drove for Brazos Trucking and was a retired Correctional officer for the State of Texas.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Zed Carlton Randolph and Maudie Ramage Randolph of Rotan, and by a grandson, Taylor Oakland.
Bruce is survived by his son, Randall Randolph of Big Spring; his daughter, Heather Cannon and husband, Greg; his granddaughter, Griffin Darling Cannon of Oklahoma City; his sister, Beverly Landes and husband, Larry; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
