Nancy Blair
1940-2016
Nancy Blair, 75, of Snyder, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 in San Angelo.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Miller Family Funeral Home.

Hayward Clay
1950-2016
Today we are silent, to pay tribute to Hayward John Clay, 65, of Snyder, who has lived among us as a Christian, brother, husband, father and grandpa. He was called home on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016.
Funeral service for Mr. Clay will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shannon Harrison officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Hayward was born on April 9, 1950 in Snyder to Will Clay and Angelita Zamora. In 1970, he married Roann Cobb, becoming the proud father of four daughters and three sons. As a small business owner, he provided for his family for more than 30 years. Being a pillar of our society, Hayward Clay served on the Lincoln Center committee, assisting with the beautification of the community. Hayward contributed his time and hard work in rebuilding the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.
Although we will miss him, we are thankful he is no longer suffering and will remember his time on this earth with love and fond memories.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Roann Clay of Snyder; three sons, Hayward Clay Jr. and his wife, Sonja, of Mansfield, Curtis Clay and his wife, Amber, of Carrollton and Corey Clay and his wife, Sarah, of Ruidoso, N.M.; four daughters, Donna Clay of Stockton, Calif., Freda Malone and her husband, Norman, of Snyder, Trina Thompson and her husband, Nuno Passos, of Mansfield and Angeleta Limer and her husband, Cori, of Arlington; seven brothers, Vernon Clay of Snyder, Will Clay, Eric Clay, Cris Clay and Anthony Calloway, all of Stockton, Calif., and Curtis Clay and Lorenzo Calloway, both of Houston; one sister, Vollie Calloway of Stockton, Calif.; five granddaughters; 10 grandsons; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Kathryn Hanks
1932-2016
Kathryn Lee Hanks, 83, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 in Lubbock.
A memorial service for Mrs. Hanks will be held at  3 p.m. Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Born on Dec. 14, 1932 in Sweetwater to Thomas and Alma (Marks) Lee, she married Maynor “Red” Hanks on Feb. 23, 1963 in Sweetwater. He preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 2007. Mrs. Hanks was a 1950 graduate of Newman High School in Sweetwater. She began working in the medical records department of the Sweetwater hospital after high school. She worked at Cogdell Memorial Hospital as the head of medical records until her retirement on Dec. 31, 1991. As a registered medical records librarian, she consulted with the Price Daniel Unit and Mitchell County Hospital in Colorado City. She taught medical terminology class at Western Texas College. Her interests included horses, gardening, sewing, crochet and photography. Mrs. Hanks was a member of various clubs and organizations over the years, including the Sweetwater Riding Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, American Association of Sheriff’s Posses and Riding Clubs and Stock Horse of Texas. She and Red loved to travel and took great joy in taking the grandchildren on trips.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Vernon Lee; and one sister-in-law, Lanell Lee. 
Survivors include one daughter, Laurie Sterling and her husband, Billy Leon, of Snyder; one son, Ricky Graves of Ira; one sister-in-law, Nelda Lee of Austin; one brother, Tom Lee; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

John Salmon
1948-2016
John Wallace Salmon, 67, of Snyder, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 in Snyder.
A memorial service for Mr. Salmon will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Salmon was born on Sept. 4, 1948 in Snyder to Wallace and Clara (Hughes) Salmon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Gary Douglas Salmon.
Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Pauli and her husband, Beau, and Stephanie Salmon, both of Fort Worth; two sisters, Jane Clifton of Midland and Claudia McCravey and her husband, Frank, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Jimmy Salmon and his wife, Sandy, of Early; and two grandchildren, Hazel Pauli and Ruby Pauli.

Concepcion Sifuientes
1920-2016
Concepcion Sifuientes, 95, of Snyder, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 in Snyder.
Funeral service for Mrs. Sifuentes will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church in Snyder with Pastor Jesus Gomez officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born on May 25, 1920 in Yorktown to Blas Palos and Linda Palos, she married Eulalio Sifuentes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and three brothers.
Survivors include four daughters, Yolanda Castillo and her husband, Ignario, of Snyder, Guadalupe Arrendo of Mexico, Maria Neavez of San Antonio and Berta Alicia Ramariz of Alabama; six sons, Abelardo Sifuentes and his wife, Teresa, Eulalio Sifuentes and his wife, Leticia, and Armando Sifuentes, all of Uvalde, Juan Sifuentes and his wife, Rosa and Martin Sifuentes, both of Snyder, Luis Sifuentes and his wife, Tomaso, of Mexico and Jorge Sifuentes of Alabama; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
