Nancy Blair
1940-2016
Nancy Blair, 75, formerly of Snyder, was called home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 in San Angelo.
Funeral service for Mrs. Blair will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Highfield officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Blair was born on Nov. 13, 1940 in Stamford to Wilburn and Ruth (Herd) Hardin. She graduated from Snyder High School and Jessie’s Beauty School in 1959. She was a successful hairdresser in Snyder, with an extensive customer following for more than 30 years. She moved to San Angelo in 2011. Loved by many and cherished by all, she will be greatly missed.
Survivors include two daughters, Shahala Blair Snowden and her husband, Brian, of Wylie and Stephanie Blair Moriarty of San Angelo; one son, Brad Blair and his wife, Angela, of Snyder; five grandchildren, Sidnee Snowden of Wylie, Ian Moriarty and Connor Moriarty, both of San Angelo; and Garrett Blair, Chandler Blair and Brayden Blair, all of Snyder; two brothers, Tim Hardin and his wife, Cheryl, of Lubbock and John Hardin and his wife, Mary, of Snyder; two sisters, Cindy Hardin Garcia of Snyder and Maxine Hardin Palmer and her husband, Stefan, of Rough and Ready, Calif.; one niece, Tonya Zamora; and one nephew, Christopher Hardin of Alpine.

Lucy Bonner
1929-2016
Louise “Lucy” Bonner, 86, of Sweetwater, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.  
Funeral service for Mrs. Bonner will be held 3 p.m. Friday in the Cate-Spencer and Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Palava Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Born on April 8, 1929 in Palava to Ollie Ray and Julia Tye (Leeper) Yoakum, she married Kenneth Lee Bonner on June 25, 1947 in Sweetwater.  She was a member of Fourth and Elm Church of Christ. She worked for Smitty’s Drugstore and Cox Jewelers as a sales clerk for many years before retiring.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie Ray and Tye Yoakum, and her husband, Kenneth Lee Bonner.  
Survivors include one son, Kenny Bonner and his wife, Norma, of Sweetwater; two grandchildren, Jason Bonner of Odessa and Lindsay Reyes and her husband, Richard, of Sweetwater; four great-grandchildren, Jaxon Ashford, Sloan Reyes, Sydni Reyes and Journey Bonner; one sister, Bernice Howard of Sweetwater; her nieces and nephews, Cindy and Jimmy McMillan of Snyder and Jack and Carla Howard and Brent Howard, all of Sweetwater; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.  
Pallbearers will be Jack Howard, Brent Howard, Jimmy McMillan, Stan Johnson, Tony Lara and Jerry Byrd.  
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Christian School, 400 Elm Street, Sweetwater, TX 79556.  

Hayward Clay
1950-2016
Hayward John Clay, 65, of Snyder, died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016.
Funeral service for Mr. Clay will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shannon Harrison officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Kathryn Hanks
1932-2016
Kathryn Lee Hanks, 83, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 in Lubbock.
A memorial service for Mrs. Hanks will be held at  3 p.m. Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with the Rev. Loran Rule officiating.
Born on Dec. 14, 1932 in Sweetwater to Thomas and Alma (Marks) Lee, she married Maynor “Red” Hanks on Feb. 23, 1963 in Sweetwater. He preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 2007. Mrs. Hanks was a 1950 graduate of Newman High School in Sweetwater. She began working in the medical records department of the Sweetwater hospital after high school. She worked at Cogdell Memorial Hospital as the head of medical records until her retirement on Dec. 31, 1991. As a registered medical records librarian, she consulted with the Price Daniel Unit and Mitchell County Hospital in Colorado City. She taught medical terminology class at Western Texas College. Her interests included horses, gardening, sewing, crochet and photography. Mrs. Hanks was a member of various clubs and organizations over the years, including the Sweetwater Riding Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, American Association of Sheriff’s Posses and Riding Clubs and Stock Horse of Texas. She and Red loved to travel and took great joy in taking the grandchildren on trips.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Vernon Lee; and one sister-in-law, Lanell Lee. 
Survivors include one daughter, Laurie Sterling and her husband, Billy Leon, of Snyder; one son, Ricky Graves of Ira; one sister-in-law, Nelda Lee of Austin; one brother, Tom Lee; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
