Hayward Clay
1950-2016
Today we are silent, to pay tribute to Hayward John Clay, 65, of Snyder, who has lived among us as a Christian, brother, husband, father and grandpa. He was called home on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016.
Funeral service for Mr. Clay will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shannon Harrison officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Hayward was born on April 9, 1950 in Snyder to Will Clay and Angelita Zamora. In 1970, he married Roann Cobb, becoming the proud father of four daughters and three sons. As a small business owner, he provided for his family for more than 30 years. Being a pillar of society, Hayward Clay served on the Lincoln Center committee, assisting with the beautification of the community. Hayward contributed his time and hard work in rebuilding the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.
Although we will miss him, we are thankful he is no longer suffering and will remember his time on this earth with love and fond memories.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Willie Faye Clay.
Survivors include his wife, Roann Clay of Snyder; three sons, Hayward Clay Jr. and his wife, Sonja, of Mansfield, Curtis Clay and his wife, Amber, of Carrollton and Corey Clay and his wife, Sarah, of Ruidoso, N.M.; four daughters, Donna Clay of Stockton, Calif., Freda Malone and her husband, Norman, of Snyder, Trina Thompson and her husband, Nuno Passos, of Mansfield and Angeleta Limer and her husband, Cori, of Arlington; seven brothers, Vernon Clay of Snyder, Will Clay, Eric Clay, Cris Clay and Anthony Calloway, all of Stockton, Calif., and Curtis Clay and Lorenzo Calloway, both of Houston; one sister, Vollie Calloway of Stockton, Calif.; five granddaughters; 10 grandsons; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Donald Logue
1938-20160
Donald Logue,78, formerly of Guymon, Okla., died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016 in Snyder.
Funeral service for Mr. Logue will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Billy Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Logue was born on Feb. 10, 1938 in Lenora, Kan. to Morris and Letha Logue. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After growing up in Norton, he worked as a contract harvester, working throughout the midwest from Texas to Canada. He also worked for several oil companies in Kansas and Oklahoma. He married Rebecca Woodrum on July 19, 1991 in Okemah, Okla. After retirement, he worked for Highway Contractors, Inc. Donald was proud to be the first one to hold his granddaughter, Krystin. His happiest moments were spending time with his grandchildren and his best friend, Raymond. He never met a stranger and everyone loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, his dog, Rover, and his horse, Snake.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Logue; one daughter and son-in-law, Karie and Raymond House of Snyder; one son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Megan Vess of Guymon, Okla.; his grandchildren, Krystin, Blaine, Brandt, Kyler, Kaden, Kolton and Logan; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Lois Woodrum of Shattuck, Okla.; one sister-in-law, Roberta Chance and her husband, Gary, of Shattuck, Okla.; one brother-in-law, Robert Woodrum and his wife, Margaret, of Houston; his nieces and nephews, Kevin Chance, Cody and Kylene Rehder, Mike Woodrum and Kate Woodrum; his grandniece and grandnephew, Kinley and Blakely Rehder; one aunt, Donnie; and one uncle, Curt Root.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Assembly of God Missionary Fund in Guymon, Okla.

Arlene Neeper
1925-2016
Arlene Neeper, 90, of Snyder, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016 in Snyder.
Funeral service for Mrs. Neeper will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with the Rev. Clif Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Roby Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born on Dec. 15, 1925 in Roby to John and Ona (Brewer) Ammons, she married Loy “Potsy” Neeper on April 28, 1945 in Roby. He preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 2008. Mrs. Neeper was a seamstress for 30 years and a member of Ave. D Baptist Church. She was a member of the 42 Club in Snyder, 88 Club in Roby and the Fisher County RV Club. She loved sports and went to a state tournament in tennis, played basketball, enjoyed traveling, playing 88, loved music, especially harmony, and loved spending time with family and friends. She loved her church and her church family.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Elsie Harvey; and five brothers, Allvis Ammons, Johnnie Ammons, Ralph Ammons, Ernest Ammons and Corky Ammons.
Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Velasco of Snyder; two sons, Ken Neeper and his wife, Linda Mitchell, of Denver, Colo. and Wes Neeper and his wife, Robin, of Irving; one sister, Dorothy Hall of Sweetwater; one brother-in-law, Ben Neeper and his wife, Pat, of Roby; two granddaughters, Heather Krause and her husband, David, of North Richland Hills and Kate Neeper of Washington, D.C.; one great-grandson, Johnathon Krause of North Richland Hills; one great-granddaughter, Lawton Krause of North Richland Hills; many special nieces and nephews; and her long-term caregiver, Lisa Rodriguez.
