Margie Lee Pinkerton
1933-2023
Mrs. Margie Lee Pinkerton, 89, of Snyder passed away on January 7 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder.
Mrs. Pinkerton was born on March 22, 1933 in Jacksonville, to Guy V. and Betty (Bryant) McKeown. She married Earnest Elton Pinkerton on September 1, 1947 in Odessa. She was a homemaker and a member of the Union Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Donald Ray Pinkerton; sisters, Jewel Williams, Edna Browning, Susie Lavinder and Anna Lilian McKeown; brothers, Ray and Guy Vernon McKeown; granddaughter, Crystal Osborne.
She is survived by daughters, Nina McClanahan of Abilene; Lois Haynes of Snyder, Anita Clinkinbeard and husband Bobby of Snyder, Evelyn Erwin and husband Bill of Snyder, Viola Dodd and husband Chris of Lubbock and Shirley Daves and husband Tony of Snyder; sons Bud Pinkerton and wife Teresa of Snyder and Ronnie Pinkerton of Snyder; 16 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; one great great–grandchild; and friend, Gina Miller
No visitation is planned.
Services for Mrs. Pinkerton will be held on January 11 at 2 p.m. at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Reverend Justin Osborne and Josh Griffith officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
