Roxann (Renteria) Mendoza, 28, died Thursday, July 4, 2019 in Snyder.
Funeral mass for Mrs. Mendoza will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Raj Arokiasamy officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born on April 16, 1991 in Lubbock to Antonio and Esperanza Renteria, she was a 2009 graduate of Snyder High School.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jose and Lorenza Gutierrez; her paternal grandparents, Cruz Renteria and Francisca Carrillo; and one sister, San Juana Renteria.
Survivors include her parents, Antonio and Esperanza Renteria of Snyder; one brother, Cruz Antonio Renteria and his girlfriend, Kim Rivera, of Abilene; one niece, Kayli Renteria of Lubbock; her boyfriend, Chris Sandoval of Snyder; and numerous aunts and uncles in Snyder and Mexico.

Agustin Ornelas Jr., 30, of Snyder, died Monday, July 8, 2019 in Fort Worth.
Funeral service for Mr. Ornelas will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Raj Arokiasamy officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Ornelas was born on April 23, 1989 in Weslaco to Agustin Ornelas Sr. and Alejandra Juarez. He worked in the oilfield.
Survivors include his parents, Alejandra and Agustin Ornelas Sr. of Snyder; one sister, Maria Ruiz and her husband, Gerardo, of Carlsbad, N.M.; and four brothers, Roberto Ornelas and his wife, Brenda, Francisco Ornelas, William Ornelas and his wife, Bridija, and Margarito Ornelas and his wife, Chayse, all of Snyder.
