Billy Allen
1936-2019
Billy Gene Allen, 83, of Snyder, died Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in Snyder.
Funeral service for Mr. Allen  will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with Monsignor Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6-6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. A rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m.
Born on March 30, 1936 in Hope, Ark. to Jack Delau Allen and Pinkie Monroe Downs, he married Beverly Jane Taylor on Nov. 22, 1958 in Snyder. Mr. Allen worked as a drilling superintendent and in the oilfield for 55 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Jane Allen of Snyder; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Billy Ray and Paula Allen of Ira and Gary Allen and Danny Allen, both of Snyder; two granddaughters, Tara White of Ira and Daniela Allen of Snyder; two grandsons, Michael Allen of Ira and Daniel Allen of Snyder; and two brothers, Bobby Allen of Hope, Ark. and Charles Allen of Emmet, Ark.

Lennie Wells
1927-2019
Lennie Wells, 92, of Comanche, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 1, 2019. 
A memorial graveside service for Mrs. Wells will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of  Heartland Funeral Home of Comanche.
Lennie was born on June 6, 1927 in Shelbyville, Ill. to Richard and Mabel Conner Homann. After completing high school, she attended Odessa College, studying art. Lennie married Lewis Wells on Aug. 2, 1945 in Shelbyville, Ill. 
She was employed in numerous positions of retail sales, sometimes as manager. She even owned and operated her own business. Lennie enjoyed using some of her spare time crocheting, painting, ceramics and shopping. She was of the Nazarene faith and a member of the Am Vets Post No. 43 Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, one son, Lewis Wells Jr., her parents and six sisters.
Survivors include a special daughter Shirley  Roach and her husband, Sam, of Jacksboro; one daughter, Kathy Howard of Comanche; one son, Glen Wells and his wife, Jackie, of Comanche; her grandchildren, Gillie and Keitha Wells, both of Antelope, Gene and Ylonda Wells, both of Tye, Greg Wells of Snyder, Samuel Roach and his wife, Bonnie, of Jacksboro, Carissa McCurry and her husband, William, of DeLeon, Kena Wells and her fiancé, Blake, Richard Clayton, Ronnie Clayton and Ricky Clayton; 15 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Comanche Volunteer Fire Department or CCS Hospice of Dublin.
