1952-2019
Augusta Maye (Clark) Ehret, 66, died Saturday, June 15, 2019.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hutchison Gym in Colorado City. The service will be under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Katlynn Gutierrez
1998-2019
Katlynn Gutierrez, 20, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Eunice, N.M.
Funeral services for Miss Gutierrez will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Hobbs, N.M. and at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Raj Arokiasamy officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. The services will be under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

David Martinez
1975-2019
David Martinez, 43, of Snyder, died Sunday, June 16, 2019 in Snyder. 
Funeral service for Mr. Martinez will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with the Rev. Dana Mayfield officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born on Dec. 31, 1975 in Snyder to Patricio and Nellie (Barrientez) Martinez, he married Tyra Brooks on April 18, 2009 in Snyder. David had a beautiful spirit who loved his family and friends. He loved cooking out and rock music. He never held a grudge and would do anything for anybody. He will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roy Martinez and Pat Martinez.
Survivors include his wife, Tyra Martinez of Snyder; one son, Nicholas Martinez of Snyder; one daughter, River Martinez of Snyder; three sisters, Margarita Huizar of Houston and Linda Jackson and Sally Sanchez, both of Snyder; two brothers, Roy Martinez and Daniel Martinez, both of Snyder; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Nita Brooks of Snyder.

Lesa Mayer
1959-2019
Lesa Mayer, 60, of Snyder, died Monday, June 17, 2019 in Lubbock.
Funeral service for Lesa will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jayton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Lesa was born on Feb. 13, 1959 in Post to C.C. and Oleta (Hamilton) York. She married William Darnell in August  2005. Lesa prided herself in her tireless work ethic and being a servant leader. She worked at West Texas State Bank for 36 years, starting as a teller and earned her way up to vice president of operations. Her devotion and joy in life were her daughters and grandson. Lesa selflessly sacrificed her time and energy to make sure they were provided for and happy. She is their never-ending inspiration and the reason they are successful in life. She loved her husband and he was always by her side. There was no one like Lesa and nothing will ever fill the holes in our hearts now that she’s gone. We love and will always miss you, Mawmoo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Phillip York.
Survivors include her husband, William Darnell of Snyder; two daughters, Jenny Hansen of Austin and Kristina Mayer of Lubbock; one grandson, Jesse Hansen of Austin; one sister, Cindy York of Dallas; and three nephews, Kelly White and Justin White, both of Dallas, and John York of Midland.
