Venona Elizabeth Gilstrap

Mrs. Venona Elizabeth Gilstrap, 85, of Broken Bow, Okla., formerly of Snyder, died Thursday, March 5, 2020, in Idabell, Okla.
A graveside service for Mrs. Gilstrap will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Snyder Cemetery with Mr. Darrell Chappell officiating. No visitation is planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gilstrap was born Aug. 16, 1934, in Pilot Point to Roger and Kate (Henderson) Hamblett. She married Pat Gilstrap on April 21, 1955, in Snyder. He preceded her in death on March 20, 1996. She was a school teacher for many years and a member of the East Side Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include a daughter, Tracie Wilson of Broken Bow, Okla.; and a son, Doug Gilstrap of Snowmass, Colo.
