LaWanna Bills Burleson
1961-2020
Mrs. LaWanna Bills Burleson, 58, of  Snyder died on Sunday, March 1, 2020, in Abilene.
Visitation will be held today from 5 to 6 p.m. at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Tommy Cowan officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. 
Mrs. Burleson was born on June 5, 1961, in Snyder to Larry and Barbara (Barnett) Bills. She graduated from Snyder High School and attended nursing school. She formerly worked at Big Country Auto. She was also employed as a home healthcare nurse with Girling Health Services.
Survivors include a daughter, Bethany Burleson of Snyder; a son, Chase Burleson of Snyder; her parents; two aunts, Jane Findley of Colorado City and Joy Watley of Snyder; five grandchildren, Zoi Arizmendi, Zerik Torres, Zaylynn Torres, Zaybryn Torres and Zeely Torres.

June Emaline Gilstrap
1928-2020

June Emaline Gilstrap, 91, of Overton died Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, in Overton. 
Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home in Overton. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wade Duck officiating. Burial will be at the Overton City Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 4, 1928, in Sapulpa, Okla., to the late Andrew and Gladys Tuttle.
She married the love of her life, L.W. “Tink” Gilstrap on Oct. 4, 1947, in Laird Hill. She lived in Snyder for 22 years, and then was a longtime resident of Overton and the surrounding area for the past 46 years. She was a longtime active member of Overton Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crafting, camping and traveling in their motor home. She worked for 27 years as the cafeteria manager at different school districts and actively worked and supported all her son’s school activities.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; three sisters, Juanita Mercer, Virginia Graham and Karlena Jackson; and two brothers, Andy Tuttle and Don Tuttle.
Survivors include her sons, Lonnie Gilstrap and Mark Gilstrap; a brother, Carlos Tuttle; eight grandchildren, Jason Gilstrap, Kristen Hildebrand, Alyson Troung, Ami Henderson, Angie Gilstrap, Teresa Choate, Brian Gilstrap and Matt Gilstrap; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brian Gilstrap, Jason Gilstrap, Matt Gilstrap, Tim Hildebrand, Andrew Troung and Randal Johnson. Honorary pallbearer is Charles Smith.

Clifton Gerald Smith
1937-2020

Mr. Clifton Gerald Smith, 82, of  Snyder died Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at his residence in Snyder.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Colonial Hill Baptist Church in Snyder with Pastor Reid Johnson and Pastor Tony Wofford officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. 
Mr. Smith was born Nov. 23, 1937, to L.W. and Beatrice (Barnett) Smith in Amarillo. He married Nancy Lee Dorman on May 28, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. Smith served in the United States Navy from November 1955 to December 1958, where he worked in biological warfare and with the canine unit. Following his time in the Navy, he was an insurance agent until his retirement. Mr. Smith served on the board of Noah’s Project and was a former Lion’s club president and faithful member.  He was a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church and served as an Adult Bible Study teacher.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Grimmett; his parents; and one sister.       
Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Wayne Smith of Lake Proctor and David Coats of North Carolina; a sister, Esther Roper of Clifton; two children, Allen Grimmett and wife, Gini; and Steve Grimmett and wife, Tammy, all of Snyder; three grandsons, Reese Grimmett and wife, Tara, Brad Grimmett and wife, Michelle, and Blake Grimmett and wife, Cassie; three granddaughters, Jennifer Jones, Ashley Thomas and husband, Luke, and Breann Smith; and eight great-grandchildren, Kirsten Lee, Avery Thomas, Kinlee Thomas, Rantley Grimmett, Fayth Grimmett, Rylann Grimmett, Hayes Grimmett and Bryce Jones.

Brian Keith Williamson
1978-2020

Brian Keith Williamson, 41, of Snyder died Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020.  
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lighthouse Assembly of God with Pastor Danny Williams officiating.
He was born in Stockton, Calif., on Oct. 10, 1978, to Teresa and Dennis Williamson. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Colorado City, where Brian grew up and attended school. He was a dedicated employee of Kinder Morgan for 11 years, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. More than 10 years ago, he committed to a life of sobriety, of which he was very proud.
Brian loved his family with his whole heart, including the friends that he considered family. His children were the light of his life. He married Teresa Williamson, the love of his life, on April 15, 2018. Together with their children, they enjoyed their cattle ranch in Snyder, and dreamed of the future together. Brian loved motorcycles and riding with his family. He also loved the Texas Rangers, win or lose. He gave the most amazing hugs that would make you feel like everything was ok, and there are many of us wishing we could have just one more.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donna Dowty, George and Georgia Williamson, and Gordon and Lois Williamson.
Brian is survived by his wife and their children, Lexi Williamson, Braden Williamson, Wyatt Liming and Amelia Liming of Snyder; his parents; his brother, Steve Williamson and wife, Dawn, of Red Oak; a niece, Kamryn Williamson; a nephew, Gus Allen; Teresa's parents, Arnie and Char Schwerin of Metamora, Mich.; two brothers-in-law, Tom Schwerin and wife, Renee, of Lake Orion, Mich., and Tony Schwerin and wife, Mandy, of Metamora, Mich.; and by many additional nieces and nephews.
