Martha Jo Forkner

Martha Jo (Miller) Forkner, 73, died Friday, April 24, 2020.
Due to current conflicts, a memorial will be held at a later date.
Martha was born June 10, 1946, to Wanda (Bly) Miller and Eddie H. Miller in Kilgore. She married Bill Forkner in the spring of 1969 in Dallas. In December of 1973 she and her husband started their own business, Advance Ignition Co., in Odessa.
She loved her dogs, skiing, going to the horse races, shopping, dancing and spending time with her family. Even though she never had children of her own, she considered and treated all of her nieces and nephews as her own. They all loved her dearly,
Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years; her parents; a niece, Joni Miller; and a nephew, Jason Miller.
Survivors include three sisters, Mary Pluff and Ted of Rancho Viejo, Linda McCurry and Chuck of Jayton, and Sister Patricia Ann Miller of Oklahoma City, Okla; One brother, John Miller of Kermit; her lifelong friend, Penny Beaver; nieces Kamie McCurry, Amanda McCurry and Carol, Kylinda McCurry, Karen Dudley and Jay, Amy Parker, Jina Sterling and Tyrel, and Shawn Miller; one nephew, John Pluff and JaNelle; and 13 great-nieces and -nephews.
