Bobby Frank Roemisch

1932-2020

Mr. Bobby Frank Roemisch Sr., 88, of Snyder died Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Heritage Nursing Home in Lubbock.

There will be a private family graveside service for Mr. Roemisch. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Roemisch was born May 19, 1932, in Hermleigh to Frank and Naomi (Barnes) Roemisch. He married Jewel Brashear on May 24, 1956, in Snyder. Bobby was the oldest of three children to Frank and Naomi. He grew up and went to school in the Hermleigh community, where he enjoyed lasting friendships with his classmates. Bobby served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954. He worked at Holder Construction as an office manager. He also worked at E.D. Walton Construction for many years and retired in 2015. Bobby was a Snyder Tiger fan and enjoyed going to all of the sporting events where he watched his kids, grandkids and great-great-grandchildren excel.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by one son, Bobby Roemisch Jr.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mike and Brent Roemisch, both of Snyder; two daughters, Rhonda Maytubby of Snyder and Debra Read of Krum; a sister, Carolyn Shaw of McKinney; a brother, Jackie Don Roemisch of Hermleigh; seven grandchildren, Zack Garcia, Shady Roemisch, Dylan Read, Dallas Roemisch, Erin Maytubby, Cheyene Roemisch and Chelcea Tovarez; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
