Juan Bernal
1954-2019
Juan Bernal, 64, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in San Antonio.
Funeral service for Mr. Bernal will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with  the Rev. Clay Giddens officiating. Burial will follow at Hermleigh Cemetery.  
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bernal was born on Aug. 19, 1954 in Karnes, County to Carlos and Francis (Rodriguez) Bernal.  
He was preceded in death by one sister, Cruz Villa, and two brothers, Carlos Bernal Jr. and Lupe Bernal.
Survivors include one daughter, Celia DeLacruz and her husband, Anthony, of New Braunfels; three sons, Chris Bernal and Carlos Bernal, both of San Antonio, and David Bernal of San Marcos; one sister, Mary Elida Bernal of Hermleigh; two brothers, Edward Bernal and Huey Bernal; 11 grandchildren, Chloie DeLacruz, Anthony DeLacruz, Christin DeLacruz, Charlotte DeLacruz, Brianna Bernal, Ciarra Bernal, Juan Carlos Bernal, Alexandria Bernal, Crystal Bernal, Shawn Bernal and Christian Bernal; and two great-grandchildren, Roman and Emilianna.

Richard Fritz
1937-2019
Richard Fritz, 81, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019. 
A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Funeral Home Northeast in El Paso.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. June 7 at the funeral home.
His life began on July 25, 1937 in Jacksonville and he was raised in Hermleigh, where he graduated in 1955. He became a longtime resident of El Paso in 1959. He was a humble man who led by example, had an unconditional love for his family and was blessed to have many wonderful friends. 
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Fritz and Donald “Bud” Fritz.
Survivors include his beautiful bride of 63 years, Bobbie; two sisters, Sandra Simmons and Sherry Jenkins; two sisters-in-law, Pat Fritz of Del Rio and Shirley Fritz of Snyder; one  daughter, Linda Thompson and her husband, Mike; two sons Gary and Alan and his wife, Debra; four grandchildren, Tara Thompson, Alan Thompson, Brittany Fritz and Tessa Fritz Smith and her husband, Robert; and five great-grandchildren.
