Linda Banks
1951-2018
Linda J. Banks, 66, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Hendrick Hospice Care Inpatient Unit in Abilene. 
Graveside service for Mrs. Banks was held at 1 p.m. today at Snyder Cemetery. The service was under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Banks was born on Dec. 30, 1951. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lon B. Faver and Mary Faver, her husband, Adrian “Bunky” Banks, and her son, Walter Banks. 
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Debra Banks, her grandchildren, William Banks and Brett Banks, and her great-grandchildren, Hayden, Brayden and Corra. 
Memorials may be made to Hendrick Hospice Care or a charity of choice.

Kathy Fowler
1950-2018
Kathy Stokes Fowler, 67, of Snyder, died Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service for Mrs.  Fowler will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with the Rev. LeRoy Ochoa officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. 
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fowler was born on Aug. 17, 1950 in Snyder to Carl Edsel and Doris “Dot” (Camp) Stokes. She married Bob Fowler on Jan. 3, 1985 in Snyder. Kathy was a housewife and a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Snyder. She loved hunting and fishing, her Dr Pepper and being with her grandchildren the most.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Horace and Luvenia Fowler. 
Survivors include her husband, Bob Fowler of Snyder; two daughters, Emilee Suchil and her husband, Phillip, of Lubbock and Stacey Taylor of Fort Worth; three brothers, Larry Stokes and his wife, Judy, of Shreveport, La., David Stokes and his wife, Darlene, of Snyder and Daryl Stokes and his wife, Susan, of St. Augustine, Fla.; three grandsons, Cody Marrow of Snyder, Ian Suchil of Lubbock and Merick Taylor-Planks of Fort Worth; and one granddaughter, Akylah Taylor of Fort Worth.

Geneva Smith
1931-2018
Geneva Lee Smith, 87, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Snyder.
Funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Davis officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Yoakum County Cemetery in Denver City.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith was born on Feb. 25, 1931 in Paris to George and Fannie (Walker) Irwin. She married Fletcher Smith on Dec. 19, 1954 in Brownfield. He preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1968.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Fletcher Smith and Bobby Smith; one grandson, Terry Smith; one granddaughter, Amy Heady; and five great-grandchildren, Kirstin Smith, Dustin Smith, Kelsey Heady, Timber Heady and Tamber Heady.
Survivors include two daughters, Billie Ashley and Effie Witte and her husband, Carl, all of Snyder; one daughter-in-law, Martha Chapman of Carlsbad, N.M.; nine grandchildren, Misty Graham, Christopher Witte, Catherine Witte and Russell Smith and his wife, Heather, all of Snyder, James Ashley of Austin and Tammy Anaya, Tina Cook, Tommy Burnet and Victor Hightower, all of Carlsbad, N.M.; and five great-grandchildren, Brandon Graham, Kevin Graham, Alexandria Infante, Morgan Smith and Amber Smith, all of Snyder.

Raul Villanueva
1936-2018
Raul Villanueva, 81, of Odessa and formerly of Snyder, died Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Midland.
Funeral service for Mr. Villanueva will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Monsignor Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery.
A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Villanueva was born on Sept. 17, 1936 in Alice to Pablo Villanueva Sr. and Hermina Garcia. He married Margaret Ybarra. Mr. Villanueva was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He was also a mechanic by trade, up until his retirement. Mr. Villanueva was an avid musician and performed with his first band, Conjunto Latinos, and later formed his second band, Los Hermanos Villanueva. He was also a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, never missing a game on television. Rest in peace and we’ll miss you in our lives. Love you Dad.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo Villanueva Sr. and Hermina Garcia; one brother, Pete Villanueva; one son, Roy Villanueva; four daughters, Lydia Tovar, Lucy Snider, Linda Rodriguez and Lisa Campos; and one grandson, Brian Rodriguez.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Villanueva; one daughter, Lora Villanueva and her family of Odessa; one brother, Paul Villanueva of Hermleigh; two sisters, Maria Villanueva of Houston and Lorenza Garcia of Corpus Christi; two granddaughters, Michelle Costilla and her family of Snyder and Ashley Alvarado and her family of Odessa; 10 grandsons, Gabriel Villanueva and Jacob Rodriguez and his family, all of Odessa, Michael Garcia and his family and Matthew Garcia and his family, all of Lubbock, Martin Garcia and his family and Anthony Tovar, all of Snyder, Johnny Villanueva of Wichita Falls, Jamie Snider of Fort Worth and Ricky Campos and Manny Campos, both of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
