William Edwards Sr.
1939-2019
William G. (Bubba) Edwards Sr., 79, died Nov. 11, 2019, in Jayton.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019, in Jayton Cemetery.  Services under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.  
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel.   
He was born Nov. 16, 1939, in Rotan o the late Roy Franklin and Zula Idell (Bunch) Edwards. He graduated from Rotan High School in 1958 and attended various colleges on a baseball scholarship before being drafted by the New York Yankees in 1961.  
He married the love of his life, Linda Jowers, on July 6, 1968, in Aspermont.  Bubba was a godly man and took time out to help a fellow man in need. He worked for ExxonMobil for 20 years before his retirement. Bubba was an avid sports fan and enjoyed a good baseball game.   
He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda, two sisters, JoNell Romine and Frankie Dell Edwards, one nephew, Tykie Romine and one great-niece, Elisha Romine.    
He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Edwards; a son, Bubba Edwards Jr. and his wife, Kaci; a grandson, Trey Edwards; a granddaughter, Callie Mae Edwards; one niece, Teresa Cox; one nephew, Ricky Romine; and great-nephews Kelby Cox. and Kury Cox.

Larry Green
1954-2019
Larry Dale Green, 65, died in Gail on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Darold Baldwin officiating. Services are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Green was born on Feb. 11, 1954 in Brownfield to Lawrence Monroe and Ozella (Proctor) Green. He married Elaine Vardeman on Nov. 19, 1992 in Odessa. 
He loved motorcycles, reading, coffee, watching movies, horses and old ’50s cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lonnie Green and Lyle Green and two sisters, Lou Ella Green and Linda Green.
He is survived by  his wife, Elaine Green of Gail;  a daughter, Janet Bell and her husband, Jody, of Odessa; a son, James Green of Odessa;  a step-son, Dean Bentley and his wife, Paula, of Albuquerque, N.M;  a step-daughter, Kelley Bentley of Lubbock;  three granddaughters, Deanna McBride and her husband, Devin, of Odessa, Casey Black and her husband, Taylor of Odessa and Chelsea Lugo and her husband, Nathan, of Gail; three great-granddaughters, Lily McBride of Odessa, Ellen Black of Odessa  and Catalina Lugo of Gail; and a brother, Wayne Green of Odessa.
