Darlene Eckert
1958-2019
Mrs. Darlene Eckert, 61 of Snyder,died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Funeral service for Mrs. Eckert will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Mr. David Jennings officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019 at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Eckert was born on Jan. 10, 1958 in Sweetwater to Roscie and Golia Faye (Armstrong) Williams. She married Nelson Eckert on Oct. 21, 1978 in Snyder.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Nelson Eckert, of Snyder; two daughters, Lori Cogliandro and her husband, Ricky, of Canyon and Janet Cummings and her husband, Kevin, of Perryton; a son, Jason Eckert and his wife, Jennifer, of Lehigh, Iowa; two sisters, Carlene Lee and her husband, Steve, of Snyder and Kathy Riggs and her husband, Dwayne, of Denver, Colo.; one brother, Ricky Williams and his wife, Terri, of Snyder; five grandchildren, Harley Eckert of Lehigh, Iowa, Kaitlyn Cummings and Sawyer Cummings, both of Perryton and KaraCogliandro and Avery Cogliandro, both of Canyon; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ben Essery
1956-2019
Ben Thomas Essery, 62, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019 in Dallas.
Funeral service for Mr. Essery will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 9 at Polar Cemetery with Preacher Bill Welsh officiating. The service will be under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Born on Dec. 24, 1956 in Snyder to Marion and Nellie Essery, he enjoyed computers, stargazing and science fiction movies. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Edward and Nellie LaVange (Goodmen) Essery, and one brother, Robert Frank Essery.
Survivors include one sister, Connie Essery of Snyder; one brother, Eddie Essery and his wife, Rhonda, of Everett, Wash.; one sister-in-law, Tanya Essery of Snyder; four nephews, William Mayle and his wife, Alisa, of Snyder, Daniel Essery of Michigan, Dustin Essery of Everett, Wash. and Rob Essery and his wife, Emma, of Plano; two nieces, Shehala Essery of Jefferson City, Mo. and Christy Comb and her husband, Josh, of Snyder; four extended family members, Concetta Harvey of Racine, Wis. and Amanda, Sonora and Travienna Harvey; one aunt, Ruth Morrell and her husband, Marvin, of Snyder; and his cousins, the Morrell and Fisk families of Snyder.

James Quinney Jr.
1933-2019
James “Pops” Daniel Quinney, Jr., 85, died in Snyder on Wednesday, Nov.  6, 2019.
No funeral service is planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Quinney was born on Dec. 30, 1933 in Stockdale to James Daniel and Olive Model (Rodgers) Quinney. He married Lorita Suttle on April 14, 2001 in Snyder. 
He was an extraordinary man who loved to sing and yodel. He was always wanting to make others smile. 
James served in the U.S. Army and was a fabrication welder for most of his life. He was gifted and could build just about anything out of metal. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents,, his first wife, Treva Mahan Quinney and a daughter, Linda Sarnagin. 
He is survived by his wife, Lorita (Suttle) Quinney of Snyder; a daughter, Debra Miller and her husband, Lee Roy, of Cuthbert; and seven grandchildren, James Mark Quinney and his wife, Beth, of Abilene, Laurie Bruner and her husband, Brian, of Odessa, Samantha Gulley and her husband, Scott, of San Angelo, Glenn Carr of Snyder, Katy Henderson and her husband, Zachary, of Crosby, Lyndsey Sarnagin and James Sarnagin; and three great-grandchildren.
