Juanita Farquhar
1936-2015
Juanita Farquhar, 79, of Snyder, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015.
Funeral service for Mrs. Farquhar will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
 
Helen Hernandez
1949-2015
Helen M. Hernandez, 65, of Raymondville, entered into rest on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral service for Mrs. Hernandez will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fluvanna Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born on Nov. 22, 1949 in Big Spring to  Castulo and Josephine (Marinez) Bilano.
She will be lovingly remembered by her father, Castulo Bilano and his wife, Luisa, of Fayetteville, Ark.; four sisters, Dora Tijerina and her husband, Manuel, of Raymondville,  Elizabeth Napper and her husband, Wan, of Clarksville, Tenn., Patti Crawford and her husband, Shannon, of Springfield, Tenn. and Dolores Holcomb and her husband, Rodney, of Stillwater, Okla.; seven brothers, Castulo Bilano Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Ozona, Joe Bilano and his wife, Mari, of Fluvanna, John Bilano and Henry Bilano and his wife, Tamra, both of Rockport, Rene Bilano and his wife, Arriana, of Agua Dulce, Daniel Bilano and his wife, Cheryl, of Decatur, and Noah Bilano of Snyder; and six nephews.
 
Noemi Pemberton
1961-2015
Noemi Pemberton, 54, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015.
Funeral service for Mrs. Pemberton will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The service will be under the direction of Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
Survivors include Nick Pemberton and Crystal Canales.
 
Merl Richardson
1939-2015
Merl Ann Richardson, 75, of Snyder, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Miller Family Funeral Home.
 
Hazel Underwood
1935-2015
Hazel Edward Underwood, 79, of Snyder, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 in Snyder
Funeral service for Mr. Underwood will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Quita Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Born on Dec. 31, 1935 in Hobbs to Thomas J. and Velma Kate (Bassham) Underwood, he married Vetta May Phillips on Nov. 12, 1955 in Sweetwater. He was a longtime resident of Snyder and member of Trinity Methodist Church. He was a roughneck for 46 years and loved the oilfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Carl Ray Underwood; three brothers, William “Bill” D. Underwood, Doyle Underwood and Morris Eugene Underwood; and four sisters, Ellen Claxton, Ann Shipp, Faye Butterfield and Media Mae Butler.
Survivors include his wife, Vetta May Underwood of Snyder; one son, Jim Edward Underwood of Snyder; one daughter, Deanna Flavel and her husband, Ron, of San Angelo; one granddaughter, Myranda Moody and her husband, Chris, of McCamey; four grandsons, Camron Flavel, Colin Flavel and Colton Flavel, all of San Angelo, and Charles Michael Underwood; two great-grandchildren, Luke Moody and Kelli Belle Moody, both of McCamey; and one sister, Tommie Marie Thompson of Bandera.
