Donald Fritz
1933-2015
Donald Wayland Fritz, 82, of Snyder, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service for Mr. Fritz will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. Burial will follow at Hermleigh Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born on May 10, 1933 in Mills County to Howard and Ruby Lee (Johnson) Fritz, he married Shirley Barrett on April 9, 1956 in New Mexico. He was a lifelong resident of Snyder and member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kevin Fritz, and one brother, Jimmy Fritz.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Fritz of Snyder; one daughter, Kimberly Fritz of Snyder; three sons, Kerry Fritz and his wife, Sharon, of Big Spring; Ricky Fritz and his wife, Julie, of Snyder and Tod Fritz and his wife, Sandy, of Pflugerville; two sisters, Sherry Jenkins of Snyder and Sandra Simmons of Georgetown; one brother, Richard Fritz and his wife, Bobbie, of El Paso; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Rubye (Caldwell) Smith, 73, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015 in Abilene.
Funeral service for Mrs. Smith was held on Friday at Hodges Baptist Church. Burial followed at Midway Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.
