Marvine Blalock
1933-2015
Marvine Blalock, 81, of Snyder, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 in Coleman.
Funeral service for Mrs. Blalock will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born on Oct. 11, 1933 in Archer City to Alvin and Quata (Jones) Stearns, she married Aubrey Blalock on May 4, 1952 in Monahans. She was a homemaker and a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Blalock worked at West Texas State Bank, in the license plate office in the Scurry County Courthouse and was also a secretary at Colonial Hill Baptist Church. She was a member of the Atheneum Study Club and enjoyed china painting.
Survivors include her husband, Aubrey Blalock of Snyder; two sons, Aubrey “Moell” Blalock Jr. and his wife, Dianne, of Boerne and Barry Blalock and his wife, Cindy, of Lubbock; two sisters, Jeannine Smith of California and  Elaine Yielding of Abilene; five grandchildren, Kevin Blalock and his wife, Kylie, of Selma, Joseph Blalock and his wife, Paige, of Austin, Bradley Blalock and his wife, Martha, of Hallsville, Stuart Blalock and his wife, Alison, of Lubbock and Spencer Blalock and his wife, Maria, of Groton, Conn.; and seven great-grandchildren.
