Noreen Ball

1923-2017

Novella Noreen Ball, 94, of Snyder, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017 in Snyder.

Graveside service for Mrs. Ball will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Fluvanna Cemetery with the Rev. Samuel Ramirez officiating. The service will be under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Born on July 31, 1923 in Snyder to Elmer and Myrtle (Brooks) Evans, she married E.L. Ball on May 6, 1941 in Fluvanna.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E.L. Ball, one brother, L.E. Evans, and one grandson.

Survivors include one brother, Jimmy Evans of Midland; three sisters, Louise Lane of Ira and Alma Whatley and Loretta Schulze, both of Belton; one daughter, Jean Green of Snyder; one son, Larry D. Ball and his wife, Katheryn, of Snyder; five grandchildren, Tracy Cooley and Charlotte Ball, both of Gail, Tammy Palmer and Alan Lewis, both of Dallas, and Shannan Fair of Dublin, Ga.; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Donny Pavlovsky

1963-2017

Donald “Donny” Pavlovsky, 54, of Snyder, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017.

Funeral service for Mr. Pavlovsky will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan McGuire officiating.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Born on July 15, 1963 in Fort Worth to Rannell and Kyleen (Rose) Pavlovsky, he married Lori Andrews on Dec. 30, 1985 in Big Spring. Donny retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after 27 years, spending most of those years at the Price Daniel unit. After retiring, he worked at the Sammy Baugh Golf Course for the last four years. Along with his passion for golf, he also enjoyed bowling. He competed at the state and national levels for the last several years. Most of all, Donny’s passion was his family. He did anything he needed to do to ensure the educational needs, safety and love for his family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Lori Pavlovsky of Snyder; two daughters, Sara Pannell and her husband, Jeff, of Muleshoe and Ashly Pavlovsky and her husband, Nathaniel Clarady, of Dallas; two sisters, Tammy Kennedy of Big Spring and Carla Pavlovsky; lifelong friend, John Roemer of Big Spring; and several nieces and nephews.
