LAMESA — The Snyder Junior High School Black eighth grade team won the consolation bracket at the Lamesa A Volleyball Tournament Saturday.
The Lady Tigers lost to Midland Christian, 25-10, 25-9. Snyder recovered from the loss with a 25-20, 25-15 victory against the Lamesa B team. The Lady Tigers defeated Levelland 25-17, 25-15 in the championship match.
The seventh grade Black team won one of three games.
Snyder lost to Midland Christian, 25-13, 25-9 in their first match.
The Lady Tigers defeated Lamesa, 25-16, 25-21 before losing to Sweetwater 25-17, 25-16 to conclude the tournament.
All four teams will play at Big Spring today.
