Ira playoff game moved to ACU

For the fourth time in three days, the Region 1-1A quarterfinal baseball series between Ira and Baird has been moved.
Head coach Toby Goodwin said Game 2, and Game 3 if needed, will be played at Crutcher Scott Field on the campus of Abilene Christian University at 1 p.m. today.
Ira won the first game of the series on Thursday, 3-2. Game 2 was originally scheduled to be played in Sweetwater today, but due to weather conditions was moved to Hawley High School.
Weather forced the two teams to move the game to Westerner Field on the campus of Western Texas College, but overnight rain forced the coaches to move the series to the ACU field, which has field turf.
