Senior Makia Gonzales recorded a double-double for the Lady Cardinals, grabbing 11 rebounds with 23 points and four steals. Senior Ryleigh Benitez scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebound and junior Brittany Smith scored 10 points with seven rebounds and 3 steals.
At 15-5, 1-0, the Lady Cardinals are on a roll, having won four games in a row and five of their last six. They will look to stay hot when they host Loraine at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
