ALBANY — The Snyder Lady Tigers won their first game of the season with a 35-16 victory over Munday at the Albany Lady Lion Basketball Classic Saturday.
Snyder led 13-6 after the first quarter and 18-8 at halftime. The Lady Tigers outscored Munday 17-8 in the second half.
Alyssa Benitez scored 11 points.
Snyder will play at Post Tuesday.

SAN ANGELO — The Snyder Tigers defeated Borger 42-41 on Saturday at the Doug McCutcheon Memorial Tournament.
Chris Depaz and Andres Medina scored 11 and 10 points, respectively. Kalen Cowley added seven points.
On Friday, the Tigers lost to Perryton 44-30 and Christoval 43-32.
Cedrick Quiroz scored 10 points against Perryton while Abram Smith had eight points. Smith scored eight points against Christoval while Chris Dickinson had six.
“I’m proud of the players’ effort on Saturday,” Snyder head coach Lee Scott said. “We trailed 15-9 in the second quarter and took a 26-18 halftime lead. And then went down 33-26 in the third quarter and came back to win.
Snyder will host Stamford Tuesday.
